These cushion covers are made up in this lovely coastal design from Clarke and Clarke fabrics, aptly named Waterfront. The fabric is 100% cotton. The design features seaside cottages, beach huts, fishing and sailing boats and lighthouses in shades of blue, red, white and beige on an off white background. The effect is that of a watercolour painting.
These cushion covers would work well in a home by the sea, or where you are trying to create a seaside or nautical theme. They would also be most suitable for a picnic on the beach, and for relaxing or reading out in the garden.
Front and back are both in the same fabric, although pattern placement does vary. If you order more than one cover, the pattern will be different on each item.
The cover has a zip along the bottom edge to remove easily for washing, and all internal edges are overlocked to prevent the possibility of fraying.
The cover is 17" square, and will fit a similar size cushion pad (not supplied). The photograph shows the cover on an 18" feather pad, and it fills out the cover very nicely.
